Partner Review and Assessment

This may take the form of an audit but there's another type of partner review, supplier review, or whatever third-party review that can be done in a different manner.

This may take the form of an audit, but there's another type of partner review, supplier review or third-party review that can be done in a different manner.

Together with the top client or client management, we build some critical factors to rank comparable partners against each other. This is not an individual assessment. It is an assessment of a number of comparable peer third parties and how they measure against each other.

The review can include suppliers, strategic suppliers, strategic contractors, manufacturing partners and other third-party partners.

The assessment may show which relationships are potentially strategic, which are reliable everyday partners, and which need a decision about whether to keep them or retain them as a backup.

The work begins with an interview with the client. The client then frames and arranges meetings with each partner. These are not full audits; they are diagnostic interviews whose analysis reveals where the partners actually lie against the criteria the client established.

After the assessment, individual third parties can be worked through with the management team. Together, you can create a maintenance or management plan for each relationship and decide what action is appropriate.

The service can stand on its own. Where the assessment reveals a need for further development, that becomes a separate, agreed piece of work.
